There are two main categories within the HR+ Online Contest.

THE CONTEST IS OPEN TO 2 CATEGORIES

Focuses on practices already in use that have demonstrated tangible results in improving human resources. These are proven approaches that show measurable impact within their organisations.

Recognises forward-thinking proposals that may not yet have been put into practice but show strong potential to enhance HR processes. This category values originality, creativity, and a clear vision for addressing current and emerging challenges in the field.

Please note: you can only enter the contest one time and must choose just one of the two categories.

All submissions must relate to at least one of three key subcategories:

  1. Knowledge Management (i.e. AI-powered skills databases, cross-functional mentoring programs, knowledge transfer protocols for retiring employees)
  2. Complexity Management (i.e. agile workforce planning systems, multi-generational team management frameworks, hybrid work coordination tools)
  3. Labour Supply and Demand Matching (i.e. predictive analytics for skills gap analysis, internal talent marketplaces, reskilling programs aligned with market trends)

These themes reflect strategic areas where HR can make a real difference, by improving how knowledge is captured and shared, navigating organisational complexity and change, and better aligning workforce skills with labour market needs.

All entries must be submitted through the dedicated online form available below.

The submission should consist of a single PDF document describing one best practice, with a maximum length of two pages. A template is available to help you structure your content and can be downloaded here:

Participants must follow the provided structure, but are also welcome to present their best practice with a unique visual identity. The provided template may be customised, or you may create your own layout, as long as the required structure is respected. Submissions, if submitted in a national language, they must include an English translation for evaluation purposes.

Please name your file using the following format:
HR+_ParticipantName_BestPracticeTitle.pdf

The deadline for submissions is 16 February 2026 at midnight CET. Late entries will not be considered.

By submitting, participants confirm that the work is original and that they hold the rights to share any materials included in the document.

Winning contributions in both award categories — Effective Implemented Ideas and Innovative Ideas — will be recognised through dedicated prizes. The winner in each category will be invited to Brussels to present their best practice during the HR+ Final Conference. Travel and accommodation costs will be fully covered by the project.

All participants will receive a certificate of recognition for their contribution. In addition, submitted best practices will be featured in a dedicated section of the HR+ website, offering visibility to their work and ideas.

A selection of notable practices may also be highlighted during the Final Conference, providing further opportunities for recognition and dissemination at the European level.
