SkillFlow: A Competence-Based Internal Mobility System

Observing how organisations often search externally for talent that already exists within their own teams, Anahí Fernandez set out to make internal potential visible and actionable. As Team Leader at Contactica SL, she designed SkillFlow — a competence-based internal mobility system aimed at aligning organisational needs with employees’ real capabilities and aspirations. 

By combining structured competence mapping, dynamic vacancy profiling, transparent matching criteria and short development bridges, she reframes promotion as a process of potential activation rather than rigid eligibility. Her idea demonstrates how internal mobility, when supported by clarity and trust, can reduce recruitment costs, strengthen engagement and transform hidden talent into a strategic organisational advantage.
