HR+ Case Studies: Learnings and Challenges

  • by

Human resources management is undergoing a period of profound transformation. Technological, social, and environmental changes are redefining how organizations are structured, communicate, and value their teams. In this context, adaptability, the acquisition of new skills, and strategic thinking have become essential for HR professionals.

The HR+ Academy – Innovative Competencies for HR Managers amid Twin and Social Transitions in Knowledge-Intensive Industries – was created precisely to support this transition. The project aims to foster the development of innovative competencies among HR managers and specialists operating in knowledge-intensive contexts, helping them respond to the demands of the digital and green transition, as well as the social transformations shaping today’s labour market.

As part of the project, numerous case studies and interviews were collected with professionals and organizations across Europe. These insights, available in the HR Case Studies section, showcase concrete experiences of adaptation and innovation in human resources. The interviews reveal how different organizations are reshaping their practices to address challenges such as skills updating, creating more inclusive and sustainable work environments, and balancing digital and environmental dimensions in people management.

Analysis of these case studies shows that HR innovation goes far beyond adopting new technologies. It is, above all, about understanding people’s needs and creating conditions that support their development. Investing in teams and continuous learning is essential to building organizations that are more resilient, collaborative, and prepared for the future.
