Observing the widening gap between emerging digital and green skill demands and the capabilities available within organisations, Jennifer Zarem Díaz Caycedo set out to rethink how Europe prepares its workforce for transformation. As a student deeply engaged with labour market trends, she designed FutureSkills EU – Upskilling & Reskilling, a data-informed framework that shifts workforce development from reactive hiring to proactive capability building 

Through predictive skills diagnosis, personalised development pathways and practice-based learning integration, she proposes a model that strengthens internal mobility while reducing structural skill mismatches. Her initiative demonstrates how aligning analytics, continuous learning and measurable KPIs can enhance organisational resilience and support Europe’s digital and green transition in a sustainable way.
